The Vulcan offers the ease of use of a laser, the functionality of a GPS and the Accuracy of a Total Station.

Typical One Man Applications Include - Data Collection "Point & Click " to store 3D Points. Layout. Inspection.

Point to Point Navigation. Digital mapping - using CAD map.

How Does it Work ? - The Vulcan consists of Three primary components : laser transmitters, measurement tools, and a Pocket PC. The measurement tools instantly measure and monitor positions within an invisible, 3D light grid created by the laser transmitters. The user controls the system with the Pocket PC, which has an interface that can be activated by a touch screen.

Functions include X,Y,Z - Distance - Angle - Area - Data Set - Transform - Map.
