Ammann AS145 ARCS Gear Driven 50% Dual Grade With Angles Self Levelling Rotary Laser With Cyclone Detector, No Remote

ARCS - AUTOMATIC ALIGNMENT The patented Automatic Reflection Control System (ARCS) allows the laser plane to be automatically set up in the working axis. Once the ARCS function has been activated the laser begins searching for a prism situated on the chosen axis. As soon as the beam is reflected the laser aligns itself automatically to this point. The laser axis is aligned to the millimeter and allows following measurements to be exact and error-free. Quick and highly precise re-alignment of the device can be performed each day without fear of errors creeping in.
SETTING-OUT AND MEASUREMENT OF ANGLES By integrating a secondary beam in the AS145ARCS it is possible to extend the usage to also encompass setting-out and angle measurement within a range of 180° . The control beam is used as an angle datum. Once the first measurement, or automatic alignment, has been performed, the value of the angle can be entered at the keyboard and thereafter the angle can turn to be set out. This function is also a great help when changing the angle datum. The laser does not have to be re-aligned because the device performs this function automatically and without causing a deviation error once the angle has been entered.
CONTROLLING CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY WITH DIRECTION BEAM The AS145ARCS two-axis laser makes controlling construction machinery child's play.Conventionally, control of machinery is performed over a plane but with the AS145ARCS comes the additional possibility of controlling the direction machinery as well. The secondary laser beam - the control beam - enables the machinery to be exactly controlled along its path by an additional machine controller fixed in the horizontal axis. Complicated measurement and adjustment of the machinery is therefore unnecessary. The laser is by way of ARCS positioned just once and controls the chosen path fully automatically.
