GLASS THICKNESS & AIRSPACE METERS
Measure the thickness of both lites of glass, as well as the air space of a sealed insulating glass (IG) assembly from a single side. Simply press the GLASS-CHEK meter against a single pane of glass or an IG window and push the button. The thickness of both lites of glass and the air space will be displayed simultaneously on the DIGITAL LCD display,
The GLASS-CHEK family of meters is durable and powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery (included). It's compact size (3 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 1 1/4") makes this meter practical for any setting: in-field testing, sales, QC, manufacturing, laboratory, etc.
The GLASS-CHEK+ model (#GC2000) includes all of the features of the base model (#GCI 000), and also contains a single pane LOW-E sensor. This sensor will detect the presence of LOW-E coating on the nearest lite of glass. The display will momentarily register a "LOW E: NEAR" or "LOW E: CLEAR" reading, and then proceed with the dimensional information.
